Romans 8:1 (NIV) Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus,
Let me begin by saying this is my first blog ever. So, although I would love your feedback and comments be nice I’m a newbie.
I am saddened by how many Children of God walk around feeling condemned and feel as though they don’t measure up. What makes this even worse is that much of it has been caused by the Body of Christ the church. They come to us and we tell them just how bad they are in our sermons we preach and by the looks we give, and the signs we hold up.
I for one know when I have sinned against God. The last thing I need is to be reminded, but we have one that reminds us of those things all too often. He is the accuser of the brethren (Rev. 12:10). And that is why we must also bring every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5).
Let me start by saying I believe in holiness, God demands it and we need to walk in it. However, I also am aware that holiness is not a set of rules that we follow, not some legalistic avenue that we travel along thinking that is what it takes to please our heavenly Father.
God is not an angry God looking to punish us for our misdeeds. We need to walk in the ways that please the Lord, but in those moments on our journey when life has gotten the best of us. We need to remember that God is faithful and just and does not hold our sins against us. (2 Corinthians 5:19). So, what we need to do is ask for forgiveness, know that when we ask He gives it and not allow the adversary to try and convince us otherwise.
I believe it was Bill Johnson who once said, “to believe a lie empowers the lie.”
Realize that His love for you is never changing Isaiah 49:16 tells us, “Isaiah 49:16 (AMP) – 16 Behold, I have indelibly imprinted (tattooed a picture of) you on the palm of each of My hands; [O Zion] your walls are continually before Me.
So, the next time you decide you would like to remind someone just how much they don’t deserve God’s grace (by the way that’s why it’s called grace). Remember these words from Romans 2:4 (NIV) 4 Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, forbearance and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance?
God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance.

I feel as tho if people could read what you have written- it would help to set them free. You made it simple and very clear-who we serve. Often I may repent but still repent again. I should know that once is enough. I fail in the aspect of knowing I need to repeat it over, I wonder if other’s do the same. Once we have repented it is over it is forgiven, but sometime’s it just feels like I beat myself up over it. I am Blessed that I have a Loving caring Heavenly Father, who hears our prayer’s for he know’s what is in our heart’s. Thank you Pastor Kantz for your leadership, for I have truly learned who I am in Christ [ Through your teaching].
